Japan (日本国 Nihon-koku) was an Island country in East Asia. The Second Sino-Japanese War of 1937 expanded into part of Second World War in 1941, which came to an end in 1945 following the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Since adopting its revised constitution in 1947, Japan has maintained a unitary constitutional monarchy with an Emperor and an elected legislature called the National Diet.
During the War of 1996, an alien City Destroyer hovered over Tokyo and destroyed the city in which it sustained the highest number of human casualties on Earth. The City Destroyer then proceeded to destroy the cities of Yokohama and Nagoya. On the day of the July 4th counterattack, Japanese armed forces engaged against the Tokyo City Destroyer and an additional Destroyer coming from the Korean peninsula over Osaka and Hiroshima, respectively.
