William Faye as Dr. Bill Fay.
William Fay (born 1956) is a producer and production manager. He attended Stanford University and enrolled in the UCLA Film School. He has served stints as production executive for New World Pictures, Film Finances Limited and as president of Centropolis Entertainment. He executive produced The Patriot and Independence Day.
Fay has a cameo in Independence Day as a SETI employee named Dr. Bill Fay who operates the light display in Operation Welcome Wagon.
